Alicia Keys Announces ‘ALICIA’ Album and Tour

Alicia Keys is ready for a new era.

The R&B powerhouse has announced that her seventh studio album ALICIA will be released worldwide on March 20. She has revealed the artwork, while a pre-sale is set for Jan. 24, in celebration of Alicia’s birthday on Jan. 25.

Leading up to the album’s release, Keys has released a trio of singles including the Miguel-assisted “Show Me Love,” “Time Machine,” and the anthemic “Underdog.”

The album has received praise from her husband Swizz Beatz. “The Best of the Best hands down‼‼‼‼‼‼‼” wrote the super-producer, adding, “Let’s go this Album is crazyyyyyyyyyy‼‼‼‼‼”

The 15-time Grammy winner will also return to the stage on “ALICIA – The World Tour,” her first tour in seven years. The European leg kicks off June 5 in Dublin before stopping in London, Stockholm, Berlin, and Paris. She will launch the North American leg on July 28 in Jacksonville, Fla. The 28-date trek includes stops in Atlanta, New York, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, and Los Angeles, wrapping Sept. 22 in Miami.

A pre-sale for American Express card members begins Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Jan. 27 at 9 a.m. local time.

Keys has a big year ahead. On Jan. 26, she will return to host the Grammy Awards for the second consecutive year, while her memoir More Myself hits bookstores on March 31.
