NEW ALBUM: $pacely – Fine$$e or Be Fine$$ed

The art of fine$$ing according to $pacely…
For his debut solo project, $pacely reaches within and without for a fine blend of classic Afrobeats, Hip-hop and the new Ghanaian wavey sound to produce ‘Fine$$e Or Be Fine$$ed’.

Currently sitting on +228k audio streams since release across digital platforms, the project was executively produced by Kuvie; one of Ghana’s most prolific producers leading the sound of the new Ghana, along with Kayso & Moor Sound, the 10 tracked LP which introduces $pacely as a solo artist outside of the edgy and innovative La Meme Gang, is a story of the versatility of $pacely as he works with a host of different styled artists, delivering melodies on a blend of sounds, the project has something for every ear.

Featuring London rapper Brudda Nay on the ‘Intro’, setting the tone for the rest of the project, $pacely then calls on Kofi Mole for the lead single ‘Yawa’ which translates to trouble. He moves on to ‘Paid’ with Pappy Kojo who offers a classic dose of the Vanne Damme flow he is known and loved for. Not letting up yet, ‘Uber’ follows, featuring Joey B; everyone’s favourite rapper with a talk-like flow and an incredible sense of humour. The project is an easy listen as we glide through ‘Ready’; his only solo track, built for the body to body vibes, and then unto ‘Sweet’, a song for lovers featuring Alte’s front liner Odunsi (The Engine) and then straight into ‘Show Me’ spotting an inviting saxophone and traditional sounding drums with BOJ who has a unique spice for every track he gets on. The next joint is a welcome drop in pace as he works with Magnom and Cina Soul for a cosy number; ‘Sominu’, perfect for a slow dance. The final tracks move from ‘Can’t Lose’ with Teezee and Prettyboydo to close off with a groovy ‘Yenkodi’ featuring Ödartei and Buman.

Take a listen and find your favourite.
