Funke Akindele Adds Comic Twist to Planking
The internet craze of lying face down in bizarre locations which originated from Australia, and has led to some fatal experience in many parts of the world, has finally come to Nigeria. Some also link it to days of slavery when slaves where being transported in ships in this position. In fact, rapper Xhibit of the MTV Cribs fame, has issued press statements condemning this new craze.
Several foreign stars have been photographed planking, some include Diggy Simmons and Justin Bieber, Big Sean, Chris Brown and even Usher’s sons. In as much as AMC doesn’t support or encourage planking, Nollywood leading actress Funke Akindele of the Jenifa fame, brought a funny twist to eat, by planking on a bag of rice.
