NEW VIDEO: Offset – Red Room

Following Quavo and Takeoff, Offset is the final Migos member to go solo. Before he drops his highly-anticipated debut album next week, he invites fans into the “Red Room.”

The Atlanta rapper, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, digs deep and shares an intimate look into his life on the introspective track, which was originally released to streaming services in November. Over the Metro Boomin production, he raps about growing up with no father, his brother’s arrest, and his brush with death.

The video mirrors his life and shows him behind bars and standing in a red room with his children’s names, Kody and Kulture, scrawled on the walls. He also crashes his green Dodge Challenger in a reenactment of last May’s headline-making accident, which landed him in the hospital.

Offset plans to reveal even more on his upcoming solo debut, which is set for release on Feb. 22. Earlier this week, he shared a trailer for the accompanying documentary featuring delivery room footage of Cardi B giving birth to Kulture.

“My first solo project I want to express my life let my fans know a little more about myself and of course some turn up !!!” he said.
