Wendy Williams Addresses 50 Cent Feud
Wendy Williams is addressing her feud with 50 Cent.
During her appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Sunday, the daytime talk show host was asked about her troubled relationship with Curtis Jackson. As part of the popular “Plead the Fifth” segment, host Andy Cohen asked Williams to say three nice things about the rap mogul.
She complimented his looks and hustle, and also revealed that she was one of the first, if not the first, person to play his music when she was a DJ on the radio. Williams claims she was suspended for two weeks without pay for doing so. “I used to be a renegade like that. If I liked it, I’d take it right off the block,” she said.
But despite their rivalry, she doesn’t seem to hold any ill will. When asked if she was upset that 50 has come after her, she shrugged it off. “No, I understand him,” she said while looking into the camera and smiling.
50 reacted on Instagram, posting the clip and extending an olive branch of sorts. “what is this, ok we gonna let you in TYCOON next time,” he wrote, adding, “but you can’t just be coming to my party’s wit no invite.”
He is referring to Williams showing up to his Tycoon Pool Party in New Jersey last month. 50 claims that he told security to turn her away at the door, however, she still made it inside.
50 and Williams have been at odds for years. Williams has criticized 50 on her talk show and in return, he has trolled her on social media. In March, he called her a “crack head” following reports that she was struggling with drug addiction.
