Damage Movie Premiere in Atlanta

Domestic violence month in the United States is October is and it is during this month that Nollywood actress and now producer, Uche Jombo, has chosen to take her message against domestic violence to another level, with the tour of her movie Damage across the United States of America. Uche Jombo produced the movie the movie and is acting alongside some of Nollywood’s best, like Tonto Dikeh, Basorge Tariah Jr and Kalu Ikeagwu.
The movie Damage presents the case of love and domestic violence in a way that has never been seen before in Nollywood. The movie stars Uche Jombo and Kalu Ikeagwu as a married couple in an abusive relationship and looks at the psychological effects that domestic violence has, especially on the children of such a union. A man and his wife love each other immensely yet their day to day life can only be described as a “cat and mouse” situation as they fight violently almost on a daily basis.
The movie is the first of a collection of three movies with distinct yet interwoven stories called The Damage Movies. The second is My Life, My Damage dealing with the consequences of drug abuse and HIV/AIDS and the third My Country, Their Damage deals with the issue of human trafficking.
Thee star studded premiere had surprise appearances by Desmond Elliot and Ini Edo.
