(Utrecht, NL) – As we noted earlier, and absolute music are opening a can of whoopass on this year’s edition of the Dutch Rockit Open Air festival. Like last year’s edition, the festival ground is situated near Utrechts lovely Maarsseveense Plassen, an artificial beach area, in the heart of the low lands.

Apart from our own 365Live! and Paul Sparkes, we have invited hitmakers Layo and Bushwacka!, Berlin’ techno diva Ellen Allien, Israel’s Essential Guy Gerber, who just released his new album, alongside Holland’s own Michel de Hey, who continues to awe his audience through his own Hey imprint, aside his massive gigging list. Other stars for the festival come in the form of Dirt Crew, Cocoon’s Tobi Neumann, and of course, mr. Absolute music himself, Dunca de la Funk, who has brought the likes of Boy George, Peter Hook, but also minilogue and Trentemøller to the country as a promoter.

The lineup is a collection of highlights, amidst the festival’s other stars, which include Oscar Mulero, Paco Osuna, Deetron, D/ Ramirez, but also Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Adam Freeland and Funk d’Void.
